NOFF® No Stored Pressure Tank has an extinguishing method that may be used to completely flood an enclosed space or to protect any surface, since it is a device with technology enabling automatic activation of sensors, such as the ones using temperature, smoke, and fire which may detect any incidents that occurr in the protected area. The device may also be activated by manually using emergency buttons or manual pull stations located in situ or even remotely. Once the sensors are activated, a signal is sent to a fire alarm control panel and a pressure generator is immediately turned on inside the NOFF® tank, which will cause the extinguishing agent to break its aluminum seal in the discharge nozzle, spreading the superfine dry chemical powder over the area, and putting out the fire.
